Product Description

A Wet Film Thickness Gauge (WFTG) is a tool used to measure the thickness of a wet paint, lacquer, or other liquid coating. It consists of a handle and blade with a scale, which allows the user to read the thickness of the coating. The blade is placed flat against the surface of the coating and the handle is used to press the blade into the coating. The scale on the blade indicates the thickness of the coating in microns or mils. The WFTG is used in the process of painting and coating to ensure that the desired thickness is achieved.
