Our company offers a wide range of WFT Combs Elcometer that is 112 & 3236 hexagonal wet film combs is made from high quality stainless steel to ensure its long service life, durability and reusable. These are highly suitable for measuring thickness of coatings up to 3000 m (120mils) range.

Furthermore, in order to use this wet film comb you first need to place a comb perpendicular that to touching the substrate. Wait for few seconds while holding the comb in position until the teeth are wet. Now take away the comb from the film. Finally the thickness of the wet film lies between the biggest wet tooth and value coated and dry tooth value or the smallest value uncoated.

Elcometer 112AL Punched Wet Film Combs (Aluminium)

These punched aluminium combs offer the user a low cost method of measuring the wet film thickness.

The Elcometer 112AL, being punched from aluminium, is not as accurate as precision formed stainless steel wet film combs and has a shorter lifespan.

Supplied in a pack of 10 combs, each comb has Metric (25 - 3000m) on one side and Imperial (1 - 118mils) on the other.

These hexagonal precision formed stainless steel wet film combs are long lasting, reusable and supplied in a range of thicknesses measuring up to 3000m (120mils).

These six sided combs vary in size, giving either 24 or 36 measurement steps, depending upon the comb, thus providing increased accuracy.
